A Message from our President & CEO and Board Chair

At Halton Healthcare, our mission is simple and deeply meaningful: extraordinary care, close to home. This Strategic Plan sets out how we will continue to deliver on that promise while preparing for the future.

Our region is changing rapidly, and the health system is becoming increasingly complex. A clear strategy will help us continue to focus our efforts, make thoughtful choices, and direct our people and resources to where they can have the greatest impact.

This plan was shaped by the voices of the people and communities we serve and by the expertise of our staff, professional staff, learners, volunteers, partners, and leaders. We heard that Halton Healthcare has a strong foundation and track record of excellence. We also heard that the future will require even deeper partnerships, new models of care, better use of data and technology, continuous investment in our people, and an unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and equity.

Over the next five years, we will work together to build a more integrated continuum of care with our partners, reimagine how care is delivered in our communities, support a modern and empowered workforce, and strengthen learning and research so that leading practices become part of everyday care. Guided by our values of accountability, compassion, and respect, we will serve our communities with purpose and confidence.

Halton Healthcare is entering its next strategic chapter from a position of strength. Building on the momentum and achievements of our previous strategic plans, Pathways 2020 and Inspiring Care, we have strengthened quality, expanded services, advanced innovation, and deepened partnerships across our community and region. As our communities continue to grow and evolve, this plan provides an opportunity to build on those successes, respond to emerging and future needs, and shape the future of care for the people we serve.
